| The Friends of the Garland County Library organization was incorporated in 1976 as an Arkansas non-profit corporation. The group's purpose is to create an awareness of the opportunities offered by the public library, to increase its facilities and services, and to focus attention upon library needs. To carry out the goal of increasing library services, fundraising activities have been a part of the Friends' objectives. | ||
