Books by Mail

Books by Mail is a service of the Garland County Library designed to meet the needs of the homebound and those residents of Garland County who are unable to use traditional library facilities.  Books and other formats are selected individually for each patron according to the patron’s interests or the patron’s specific requests.  Materials will be sent on a regular schedule.  Library materials are delivered by mail in zippered pouches with reversible address labels for easy mail return.

If you are interested in this service, please complete an application and return it to the library at your earliest convenience.  Once we receive the application we will contact you by telephone to go over any questions you may have before the service begins.

If you do not have a library card and are unable to visit the library to apply for one, we will need to have a statement from your doctor so that we may issue you a card through the mail.

If you have any questions or would like to request an application please call the Garland County Library at (501) 623-4161 or (501) 922-4483.
